Not very useful

The sensor already has a female connector. A male connector would be great so that you could plug it directly into a wall usb c charger.

Hi MG,

Thank you for your review! The back female adapter was developed based on community feedback to hide the cable for a cleaner installation. Additionally, we offer two male USB adapters that allow you to plug the sensor directly into a wall charger. If you have any questions or need further assistance, we’re happy to help!

Nice idea but needs work

I like having the cord in the back of the MSR-2, but most USB-C cables physically pull the female port and the backplate off the MSR-2. It's a tricky balance. I think I'll need to tape or glue it together for this to work, otherwise I'm just re-assembling the MSR-2 every time I need to adjust the angle.

I was disappointed in the fit of this plate, was not a good fit at all. The plate came with the female ball socket mount, but not the Male portion, surely these should come together as a unit? The connectivity to HA was perfect, no issues with that, but I feel that the case is not well made for the price.

Hi Panapat,

Thank you for sharing your feedback on the MSR-2 Female Back USB Port. We designed a universal backplate to keep things simple instead of having multiple different backplates that only serve one function. This allows people to use both the female back port and the stand versus having to choose between one or the other. The male portion of the stand is included when the stand is purchased but we can reevaluate how we bundle the accessories. We understand your concern about the fit and will work on improving it. I'm glad to hear that the connectivity to Home Assistant was perfect. We're always here to help if you have any further suggestions or need assistance.
