This little product is absolutely amazing, super easy to set up. Great features, overall very happy. Will buy more for the rest of the house.
I bought the AIR-1 after going down a rabbit hole looking for an air quality monitor to keep near my 3D printing setup. I initially thought I was going to buy something for $20 from a huge online retailer, but after doing some research, I found that I could get something much better that provided much more accurate information. The Air-1 took two minutes to set up and only a little bit longer than that to set up a dashboard on my Raspberry Pi based Home Assistant. I’m definitely considering buying more of these for around my house and will be looking at other Apollo products!
Very useful breakout for adding my own peripherals! So far I've just used it for LED strips, but there's plenty of IO for all sorts of stuff. One question I have is, why is the current on 5V limited to 300mA? Is that the limit of the connector? A power diode? I would be nice to have the full USBC 3A (minus whatever the Apollo needs) at the GPIO output for LED strips!

Thanks so much for your feedback! You're exactly right: the current limit you're experiencing is due to a limitation of the PCB itself. We’ll definitely consider this for future revisions.
