mmWave Radar Sensor (HLK-ld2410b)

  • 1 Target tracking
  • Very good still detection
  • Very good tuning capability
  • Ability to tune out false positives

LUX and UV Sensor (LTR-390UV)

Temperature  / Pressure Sensor (DPS310)

Provides accurate readings of temperature, and pressure. The pressure enhances the readings from the CO2 sensor. Note: The ESP32-C3 in constant WiFi connection generates significant heat; you might need to adjust the offset based on your setup and the temperature/humidity won't be as good as a dedicated sensor with less heat build up.

C02 Sensor (Optional SCD-40)

  • True CO2 sensing

Bluetooth Tracker(ESP32-C3-Mini) - YAML Config Required

Track Bluetooth devices in your house, letting you know which devices are closest to the sensor. You will need to know the MAC of the Bluetooth devices you want to track.

  • Find your phone if you left it in the office or the bedroom.
  • Know who just walked into the room.
  • Track a beacon attached to your dog's collar.

RGB Pixel

  • RGB neopixel

Outshines all the others

I’ve tried a bunch of different mmWave sensors, and so far, the MSR-2 puts them to shame. The MSR-2 is a bit more raw, and will take a little bit more time and effort to tune, but it gives you access to *all* of the variables you need to tune it exactly how you want. And once you’ve got it set up, it’s rock solid.
For future versions, it would be great to see an improvement in form fact. For example, the outlet mount is convenient, but it sits slightly off center and you can tell the case is 3D printed. But honestly the device itself is tiny compared to a lot of other mmWave sensors, so even if it’s a little rough around the edges, it’s pretty easy to hide.
For the money, I don’t think there’s a better presence sensor option on the market. My strategy has been to buy a bunch of these and scatter them throughout the big rooms instead of trying to find one perfect sensor to tackle big spaces, and I don’t regret it for a second.
Overall I'm a huge fan of this little sensor and I'll be ordering a few more of them, shortly!

Ok

It’s works the motion sensor is fast. Nothing to write home about though. Feel like a third reality motion sensor and the IKEA air quality sensor. Would have gotten pm 2.5 that way. But don’t care enough to return it.

Love Everything About these Devices

I bought one after being recommended by my boss and after about ten minutes of working with it I immediately bought another. I love all the features and abilities that this little device can do and it is so incredibly useful. Can't wait to see what else comes out of this company!

These work really well

They install easily into Home Assistant ESPHome. I use them for presence and light sensing. I started the radar adjustments using the automated method (the web directions for doing this needs updating.) That was just a starting point. I set the zones to help identify which gates needed adjustment. I am still dialing in one that is in a larger room, I think I have it now. My automations are working. I am satisfied. These are replacing Aqara FP2. I like the size and lack of needing an account. I also adjusted the temperature offset and it is consistent. They can take some work dialing them in but it has been a fun learning experience.
